Today, one of the photos I took for Cee of Coco and Vera was chosen as Club Monaco's You Bought It, We Love It Pick of the Week. That got me thinking - and I decided to share some of my favourite shots that I've taken for Coco and Vera this year. Enjoy!

Manitoba
I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Manitoba. I was born and raised in the South Interlake; my family and many of my close friends still live there. But I'm used to living in a big city and the slow pace of life doesn't feel relaxing for me; it just feels slow.
I got a vivid reminder of that when I visited last weekend to attend the wedding of my good friends, Mike and Jen. (Congratulations, guys.) I got to catch up with the people I love, and enjoyed what may have been the worst game of gold ever played with my brother and his friends at Nettley Creek. But after a choatic weekend, it's good to be back in Vancouver.

Rays
This city never ceases to surprise me. You can take photos in the same location countless times and never really know the full potential of the place.
Take last weekend; I thought I had finished up a outfit shoot with Cee. We were walking from our location to dinner at Nicli Antica Pizzeria when I noticed a shaft of light being reflected into a dark alley. We had shot in the alley three times before, but always earlier in the day, when the sun was shining in an ordinary way. At six o'clock on Saturday, the lighting was absolutely perfect, better than I ever imagined.
